Who We Are
When women started losing their hair on Mounjaro and Ozempic, two kinds of brands showed up.
The first made things up. Invented percentages. Doctors who don't exist. Before-and-after photos of women who were never customers. Promises to "stop shedding in three weeks" from formulas that were a generic hair vitamin with a new label on the box.
The second didn't show up at all — or offered the same biotin tablet you'd already tried and already given up on.
What we found when we went into the research was simple. The women being sold to were smart, health-literate, and being talked down to. They didn't need hype. They needed a formula that matched what the science actually says — and someone willing to tell them the truth about what a supplement can and can't do.
So we built Root in Britain, around the two things nearly every hair supplement gets wrong: iron, the nutrient these medications quietly deplete, and saw palmetto, for the hormone side that nutrition can't reach. Every dose printed on the label. Nothing hidden in a blend.
